about

The Shore is the first example of a string of single to come show casing a body of new work which encompasses a whole new sonic sound world for the band. “Environmental changes in the band song writer is most likely the catalyst for these new sonic textures to be manifesting” he says.
The Shore speaks of uncertainty in one’s life it points to situations and circumstances that once seemed to be so solid as a foundation of how reality is to very suddenly being a distant memory or a past life or a vivid dream that you now have woken up from.
It is about people in our lives that aren’t with us anymore and for us the new realities we are left with to face in that absents, interwoven in this perhaps the ability to find/ seek a sense of peace in the knowing that all things pass in their own time as time catches up with us all. We all stand on the edge of the shore

Genre: Sonic Indie

lyrics

The Shore

Waking up from a dream
Nothings quite what it seems
I can’t stay here anymore
Drifting far from the shore.

Falling out of my skin
Torn deep within
I can’t stay here no more
Drifting Far from the shore
